Artisanal Chocolate Workshops in Peru

At ChocoMuseo, we offer you chocolate making workshops.
The chocolate workshops last 2 hours, can be booked whenever you desire and include:

• A presentation of cacao plantations and how cacao grows
• Presentation of the different steps to make chocolate from the cacao beans
• Roasting of the cacao beans
• Husk removal of the cacao beans and tasting of the cacao tea
• Grinding of the cacao nibs on a metate with a mano: The way the aztecs did
• Grinding of the cacao nibs in a melangeur: The way we do it nowadays
• Preparation and tasting of a hot chocolate using pure cacao paste
• Preparation of your own chocolate with different ingredients (almonds, nuts, coffee beans...) to choose from.
• 30 min after the end of the workshop you can leave with your own handmade chocolate and bring it back to your friends and family
