FROM BEAN TO BAR: CHOCOLATE THROUGH THE AGES & AROUND THE WORLD
Guided Tasting & Talk
7:30pm-9:30pm
$35 advance ticket goes directly to the Shay Hawkins Medical Relief Fund; $40 after July 20
Come hear Dr. Kristy Leissle, world-renowned chocolate expert and PhD in Chocolate, discuss all things chocolate at Isack Art Gallery.
Dr. Kristy will be discussing everything chocolate from its role in the ancient Mayan and Aztec civilization to its modern day production by artisan chocolatiers. Throughout, she will relate the exciting tales from her year-long journey through the global cocoa trade route!
After the talk, Dr. Kristy will lead everyone through a delectable chocolate tasting where we'll taste chocolate from Green and Black's Organic, Amano Artisan, Donna & Co, Fine & Art and much more!
ALL proceeds from the event will go to the Shay Hawkins Medical Relief Fund.
