Event Description
This Wonk is devoted to the subject of rating and reviewing chocolate: methods, systems, how to give tastings, flavor wheels, spider graphs, pyramids - and more.
The Food Emporium is our official sponsor for this event - they will be supplying the chocolate!
1175 3rd Ave @ 68th Street - 212.249-6778.
Entrance fee is $10 payable at the door + 2 drink minimum (beer, wine, soft drinks). Open to non-members and members alike.
The annual ChocolateWonk membership fee is $25/year.

My husband Dean Morgan will be in New York (for a few hours only) on Sunday and will do his best to attend. He has just been in Bolivia sourcing cacao beans.

Ahh I am so disappointed I won't be able to come anymore either - no one told me about an 80th birthday party! Anyway, I truly hope it goes well and that another similar event is held soon!

Hi Evert-Jan! I've never tried his chocolate bars before and I'm curious. I have tasted his truffles and they were delicious so it makes me want to try his bars even that much more. You would think NYC has everything but that's simply not true. There's a chance I might be visiting Brussels this fall so hopefully then & of course some beer ;-)
