Ever wondered how one of the most popular foods in existence is made? Learn the whole process through a hands-on workshop. You will make chocolate from bean to bar using beans sourced from Southern Belize, Central America.
This event is hosted by Jeff Pzena, co-owner of Cotton Tree Lodge, an eco lodge in Belize where the cocoa beans are grown.
Activities include: Introduction to the equipment needed to make chocolate in a home kitchen: Roasting, Cracking and Cleaning, Recipe Development, Grinding, Conching, and finally Molding and Wrapping. You will leave with some of the chocolate you made yourself!
$80 US per person. Space is limited. Please RSVP to 917-439-8550
