 by Chef Michael D. Poole will be exhibiting and selling its award winn
 ing, artisan chocolates and toffee at the Northwest Chocolate Festival
  (http://nwchocolate.com) at the Washington State Convention Center at
  the corner of Pike and 8th Avenue in downtown Seattle, from 9:30 a.m.
  to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30. Fest
 ival admission for one day is $30 at the door. Festival Two-Day Pass i
 s $60 at the door. The private press night is Friday, September 28.\nC
 hef Poole will also be debuting a new line of chocolates, “Hot Choco
 lat,” (http://hotchocolat.net) which will feature three new flavors:
  habanero caramel enrobed in dark chocolate, cayenne caramel enrobed i
 n dark chocolate, and firehouse chili enrobed in dark chocolate. Chef 
 Poole offers more than 15 flavors in dark, milk, and white chocolate m
 ade from the freshest ingredients. There are no emulsifiers, additives
 , or preservatives in the chocolates. Three flavors of toffee will als
 o be available. Retail buyers and individuals are invited to stop by a
 nd sample and purchase the chocolates and toffees.\nIn 2004, Seattle f
 irefighter and chef Poole established MDP Signature Chocolates and beg
 an producing handcrafted, French chocolates under this label. These ch
 ocolates were provided exclusively to catering clients. With an increa
 se in client demand, chef Poole began boxing the chocolates for retail
  sale on the Internet.\nSince 2004, MDP Signature Chocolates has won s
 ilver and gold awards at both the Seattle and San Francisco Internatio
 nal Chocolate Salons. MDP Signature Chocolates earned “Master” cho
 colatier status at the 2012 International Luxury Chocolate Salon. The 
 judges at the 2011 Seattle Chocolate Salon proclaimed, “the lemon me
 ringue truffle from MDP was like a bite of lemon meringue pie enrobed 
 in white chocolate.”\n Chocolatier and chef Michael D. Poole has se
 rved 32 years as a firefighter, lieutenant, and firehouse cook on the 
 Seattle fire department in Seattle, Washington. Chef Michael is a grad
 uate of Le Cordon Bleu Paris with a Grande Diplôme in Pastry and cuis
