The Northwest Chocolate Festival is proud to be the largest gathering of true Bean-To-Bar chocolate makers in the United States. We are delighted and tastefully surprised to be the largest dessert showcase in the city of Seattle.
We also host the Best of the Northwest Dessert Awards and we always have fun at the competition night celebration.
This year we focus on the agriculture of cacao ~ the fruit that makes great chocolate ~ and the techniques that set fine chocolate makers apart from the competition.
We explore chocolate flavor and source, craft and modern techniques, and the equity of landholders-farmers-importers-makers-retailers-consumers is a key piece of the education in our festival this year ~ finding a balance and value in the supply chain.
We love to dive in to the secrets of working with chocolate in traditional desserts and contemporary dishes as well as tasting, chocolate pairing, sensory evaluation and a special feature on chocolate drinks.
If you love chocolate, there's no place you'd rather be than in Seattle on October 22-23 for the 3rd Annual Northwest Chocolate Festival.
