DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Chocolate Festival is proud to be the larges
 t gathering of true Bean-To-Bar chocolate makers in the United States.
  We are delighted and tastefully surprised to be the largest dessert s
 howcase in the city of Seattle.\nWe also host the Best of the Northwes
 t Dessert Awards and we always have fun at the competition night celeb
 ration.\nThis year we focus on the agriculture of cacao ~ the fruit th
 at makes great chocolate ~ and the techniques that set fine chocolate 
 makers apart from the competition.\nWe explore chocolate flavor and so
 urce, craft and modern techniques, and the equity of landholders-farme
 rs-importers-makers-retailers-consumers is a key piece of the educatio
 n in our festival this year ~ finding a balance and value in the suppl
 y chain.\nWe love to dive in to the secrets of working with chocolate 
 in traditional desserts and contemporary dishes as well as tasting, ch
 ocolate pairing, sensory evaluation and a special feature on chocolate
