The Brooklyn Chocolate Experiment
Do you have what it takes to compete?
Competitive cookoff pros Theo Peck and Nick Suarez team up with Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs of Food52 and present to you NYC’s premier culinary competition, the Brooklyn Chocolate Experiment.
Amateur chefs will compete by creating their most delicious chocolate-based dishes ranging from sweet to savory to chocolate beverages. The audience, along with a celebrity judging panel (among them Bon Appetit's Andrew Knowlton and ice cream guru Ben Van Leeuwen) pick their favorites. As usual, prizes and cash (rumor is $1500) will be given away to those who strive for cook-off glory.
For more information about competing, visit the web site and sign up.
A free after party will ensue in the front lounge with chocolate galore. The free after party will also highlight the best chocolate cookie winner from Food52.
Advance Tickets: $20, includes a beer
Day of Tickets: $25
A portion of the ticket sales will help support Ovarian Cancer Research.
