Why don't you give Gary a call Deborah? He knows a lot of stuff and a lot of people. I don't know if they have what you need but he'll tell yopu pretty quickly.

Good luck with that

Thanks for your reply Colin, gee you must make a lot of chocolates!!

However, I am using 25kg lots each of raw organic cacao butter and powder so was wondering what suppliers others use.

cheers

Deborah

I just buy chocolate callets and cocoa butter. No beans. I use F.Mayer Imports in Sydney and the rep's name is Gary Willis ph 0413-749-423.

I buy small orders of about 200Kg - 1000Kg at a time (once a month) and not everyone will work with you at those amounts.

Wonder where those in NSW are buying their beans, cacao butter etc from? Who is selling the best products at a reasonable price?

cheers

hi all  what is going on with max brenner there was a protest a few months ago 27.8.11at Brisbane's south bank stores & melbourne and now another protest in melbourne today the group  are targeting Max Brenner Chocolates because it is owned by the Israeli-based Strauss Group.

It says the corporate responsibility section of Strauss Group’s website – since amended – pledged the company’s support to the Israeli army, including providing soldiers with food for training and missions.

Hi, I am a 40 year veteran on the cocoa growing industry and living for the last 33 years in West Africa after the first 10 years in PNG.

If you want to know what happens before you get hold of the beans, just ask.
