Finally I have my Madre chocolates in the house.

Yesterday I received 9 bars from Bletter & Elliott, they are looking fantastic, now the tasting and the final order...

Looks like i'll be in maui at the end of june/beginning of july - if anyone here has any technical questions regarding their cocoa or chocolate & is in maui, and would like me to stop by, i'm happy to do so.  if you've got absolutely no questions but just want to show off your goods, i'm happy to blow away by your work as well 8-)

Aloha All, My partner Berndt and I have a small cacao farm in Papaikou just north of Hilo. Right now we have 500 trees: 1/3 Forestero, 2/3 Trinitario. The Trinitario are just planted, and some of the Forester are coming into fruit for the first time. Eventually we will be making some estate chocolates, but for the near future we will just be producing beans. We are looking forward to being a part of this community.
