The 2010 Hawaii State-wide Cacao Variety Trial

Cooperators from several islands will be involved. In addition there are over 30 cacao growers in the state and more waiting to plant.

This group serves as a central point for information and discussion on a variety of topics from propagation to fermentation to tempering in the tropics.

The goal is to create a forum that will maximize quality English language content benefitting our Hawaii growers and chocolatiers and other Chocolate Life members as well.

In June Philipp Kauffmann (Original Beans) Erik Sauër and Vera Hofmann could come over to taste your chocolates and thise would be a unique tasting for us, and also I do wait for the Adi Chocolate Fiji to compaire. You shall have your review Nat, thanks.

Finally I have my Madre chocolates in the house.

Yesterday I received 9 bars from Bletter & Elliott, they are looking fantastic, now the tasting and the final order...

Looks like i'll be in maui at the end of june/beginning of july - if anyone here has any technical questions regarding their cocoa or chocolate & is in maui, and would like me to stop by, i'm happy to do so.  if you've got absolutely no questions but just want to show off your goods, i'm happy to blow away by your work as well 8-)
