Hi Everyone! I'm fairly new here and to chocolate making. I started selling my handmade organic raw cacao chocolates at farmers markets this year. I am doing a little talk/tasting this weekend in our very small country town and was hoping people here might share a bit of an outline on what to do!! I thought I'd start with showing people what a cacao fruit acutally looks like! ha! Then a bit about how good dark chocolate is made and then what to look for in a piece of quality chocolate. Any other suggestions on how to a a little spice to the talk would be well apprecieate from this novice.
We're excited to announce our first annual Cacao & Chocolate Bootcamp on beautiful O'ahu, Hawai'i. Join us for 5-days in paradise on a journey for chocolate. Practice farm skills in cacao orchards, visit with cacao researchers and farmers, learn about fermentation and drying for cacao, get hands on with bean to bar chocolate.
