Any criollo bars?

I'm a chocolate lover who has tried many types, and decided that I like chocolate made fromcriollo beans best.  But most manufacturers don't list the bean type on their packages. Cananyone tell me the names of small dark chocolate bars made from criolla, that I can buy atplaces like Trader Joe's?   -- Arnold IsmachSee More

I live in Eugene, Oregon, and am known by many as Mr. Chocolate.
That's because I have given many lectures on the history, health
benefits and lore of chocolate to clubs and public gatherings here.

I'm the retired dean of the School of Journalism at the University of
Oregon. Study chocolate, and making chocolate goodies, are among my hobbies. Or should I say, they're my religion.

Hi there, I must say, I'm curious about your chocolate exploits in Eugene (been there once--nice city) and would love to turn your attention to some high quality milk and white chocolate to supplement your dark proclivity.

It's a pleasure to meet you and have you on my friend's list.

To Chocoflyer: Unfortunately, I can't send photos of my truffles. I'm also unable
to be in Ashland for the Chocolate Festival in March. But I will be at the Eugene
City Club lecture on Feb. 15, when Shane Tracy, who founded KeKau Chocolate
in Eugene in 2005, and produces some very unusual chocolates.

Welcome to The Chocolate Life. In a previous life (in the 70s) I lived in Portland (I worked at KBOO-FM) and I remember hitchhiking to Eugene to see Santana. I now have family in Cottage Grove. We look forward to hearing more from you and seeing photos of your work.
