- Chocolate has been a hobby for over 10 years. In 2006, I have my 5th open heart operation due to a congenital heart defect - and was not expected to live. Well I lived, and chocolate became my therapy for healing. I experiment with high end techniques and researched and studied every major chocolatier. I started making handpainted chocolates for friends and family. Through word of mouth, I was introduced to Whole Foods. Short story, I developed my own line of natural colorants and I am now a supplier to Whole Foods.
