ok but if i need to temper a min of 1kg as you say then i melt around 670 g so surely the remaining is 330 g to seed? This is the 2/3 melt and 1/3 seed method right? But if I melt 670 g and only add 20% of this amount then I add a further approx 130 g. Shouldnt it be 33% which equates to the 1/3??
hi Ilana. I was just going over your comments and note that you said that when seeding you will need 20% of the amount melted. Is this correct because for example if I melt 670 g and then seed shouldnt it be with 1/3 e.g 330g. If its 20% thats only around 130g? I am confused :)
