Going, Going, Gone

The world is supposed to end today and I have no idea what to fix for supper, much less who to invite.  The prospect of having to prepare my last meal on earth is entirely too overwhelming.  All I can say is, just about the time Doomsday hits, no matter how grand the plans or big the roast I’ve marinated, I just know I’m  going to decide that we’d might as well order pizza.  Making chocolates is pretty much like that.  I sketch out half a dozen varieties in my head that I know I can whip out in…See More

Chocolate Attacks Woman and Daughter, Neighbors Fear They Are Next

I’d never entered a contest before, unless you count the lottery where all I’m judged on is my ability to select random numbers (a skill, by the way, I appear to be miserable at), but when I heard that my favorite chocolate boutique,…See More

"I've been trying to cut down on the rich cream and butter of my ganaches because if I continue to eat them, I'll be buried in a piano box in no time.  So recently I made a delicious ganache of melted Callebaut 45% milk chocolate…"

Most memorable chocolate experience:
Buying chocolate Milk Duds for the bomb shelter. We weren't allowed to have candy very often, so when my father stocked up on Milk Duds for the make-shift shelter during the Cuban Missille Crisis, I thought whatever was going on wasn't going to be nearly as bad as my parents seemed to think, not if it came with so much chocolate.
My favorite chocolate is:
The ones I make myself.

Hi Janice. How are you? How are you using this site? I'm a bit overwhelmed. Any suggestions?

On a different note, I happened to check out your tweets on Twitter just to keep updated with you and saw you wrote you were reading my profile. You didn't write @Michelle_Benoit. When you tweet you need to put the @symbol before the person's Twitter name, otherwise they are unlikely to ever know you tweeted about them. The point is you want to tweet about people and events and RT (retweet) etc to support your followers. Then they are more likely to support you back. I went to a workshop about Twitter in Mexico City to learn how to get the most out of Twitter. If you want to Skype I'd be happy to give you some tips. Basically I just told you the most important information, but it may still be fuzzy to you. I hope this helps. And thanks for the mention.
