Totally messing up my first attempt at hand tempering. I laughed so hard at the disaster that laid before me. Every tool around me was covered in hard chocolate, the floor was not spared either. Being a clean freak this broke me in quite well. It was like watching a train wreck, I felt very helpless as the chocolate got harder and harder and would not move on the marble slab. From there, one could only get better!
