- Most memorable chocolate experience:
- I was on a 15 day / 7 country tour of Europe and it gets tiring. Up early in the mornings, to bed late at night, get on the bus, get off the bus, walk around to see things, whew! One morning I went down to breakfast and forgot where I was. The waitress asked me if I wanted coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Since I didn't drink coffee or tea at the time, I asked for hot chocolate. It was the most sensuous, fulfilling, delicious hot chocolate I ever had! I asked for two more cups and made that my breakfast! It woke me up enough to realize that I was in Switzerland, home of Lindt. What a wonderful discovery, especially for a sleepy head like me. Thereafter I fell in love with certain imported chocolates and only use imported chocolates in preparing my truffles, brownies and pecan pies for sale on my website - royaltreasures.com.
