- I've always enjoyed chocolate. I grew up equating chocolate with milk chocolate. The first time I tasted a dark chocolate bar was transformational for me. Looking back, I now know it wasn't of very high quality, but it opened my eyes to the fact that chocolate could be so much more than just a super-sweet treat.
