I brought a kilo of French chocolate through US Customs at JFK International Airport in 2005. While the officers were checking out my Beaujolais collection...I asked them if they had seen "the kilo..". They flipped out and thought I was talking about something illicit (white powder), so I opened my box of chocolate and shared some with the attending officers.
