This hotel I stay at frequently in Kuwait has a yearly chocolate festival. This hotel hires very top notch chefs from Europe and all these desserts were absolutely incredible. I'm an airline pilot & when we leave Kuwait we leave very late at night, like around midnight and fly for 8 hours or more. Every time I left Kuwait that month of the festival I would get a different dessert from their special chocolate festival menu and that would be my meal to keep me awake all night instead of the airplane meal.
My favorite chocolate is:
italian

I see your favorite choc is Italian- have you had Amedei's Porcelana bar? Im going all the way to San Fran to get one at Fog City News (on the Choc Tour) and cant wait to taste PURE CRIOLLO- I think ill have to step aside and be alone with it. Whatever the cost I know it will be an experience to savor! Do you notice right off a big difference in flavor from other pure bean bars?
Welcome to The Chocolate Life. I'd like to know more about the way Kuwaiti chefs use chocolate - especially flavors and ingredients that are common to the middle east but not so well-known or used here in the US. Pictures, too. If you have them.
