- making truffles at Yule for friends. watching my friends' faces as they made their own truffles from simple ingredients and being so happy from both the process and the results: good chocolate, heavy cream, flavorings and sometimes choc for dipping or cocoa.

Welcome to The Chocolate Life. I know what you mean about watching people's faces. I helped organize a truffle-making class at Chocoplogie (Fritz Knipschildt's shop) yesterday and watching people pop that fresh plain truffle - chocolate, cream, butter - rolled in cocoa powder ... I don't know of many chocolate experiences that are better.
