Good day Chocolate Life,

I'm heading to Australia for a couple of months and would love to connect with some chocolatiers. I'll be in Brisbane. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Comment by Tom on July 24, 2012 at 5:44pm: I don't know any chocolatiers of note in Brizzy and my parents live there. I think it is a climate thing...too hot. Also Australia in general is what I describe as a chocolate backwater. If you want to eat some good chocolate go to Monty's Chocolates, Steve has two outlets in Brizzy. He stocks the likes of Pralus, Coppeneur and the cafes are really good, and Steve is always up for a chat about chocolate. Also you can check out the cocoa tree in the Tropical Dome at the Brizzy botanic gardens which are very close to the city.
