You're talking to a big local supporter so to me, sure it's a no brainer. To others, I'm not so sure. Cisco makes it look easy but at what cost. Long discussion for another day, do you think I should check the book out and have the title?
I live in Charlotte, NC, we've got a population of about 1.6m but the many quadrants of the city are relatively isolated from business overlap. Even then we're still only one of I think 3 chocolate people in our region (extending even a bit beyond our borders).
I'll never turn information or insight down. :) We do focus on local, sustainable, and try and participate as much locally as we are able. Upcoming Valentine's is going to be a serious task for our little family but I hope we can reap a good word-of-mouth & local response from being a lot of places at once. I also missed my magazine entrances for this time of year but I'm working on getting some papers to pay attention. I still fear exactly how my writing style currently differs from PR tones but we're learning as we go!
