Tempered from Scott Sherman on Vimeo.
We are working on a documentary called "Tempered: A Chocolate Odyssey." This is a rough cut demo from some early shots.
We have begun shooting interviews, and have more scheduled. We hope to find funding to finance travel to England for the Academy of Chocolate and France. We are also hoping to get to South America to visit the origins of our favorite beans.
Let me know what you think! I would love feedback and ideas and criticism (be gentle).

Comment by Barbie Van Horn on March 1, 2013 at 10:26am Beautiful. Please keep working on this until you have finished. I share your passion. You have gracefully put into words and video the concepts that are so difficult to explain to people who haven't yet connected with fine chocolate.
It is very encouraging to find people like you!

Comment by Iván Andrade on April 28, 2011 at 1:12pm Chocolate-loving friends in Ecuador, South America, we have the best cocoa in the world for its fine flavor and quality, we are the leading exporter of cocoa Up, I would decide to visit our country, where I can offer a tour of the main sectors of production of cocoa beans and the production sites for coverage of cocoa liquor and chocolates made by hand, worked by peasant associations. You can not miss the taste of the cocoa beans straight out of the ear, consisting of an almond covered with a white flesh with sweet and pleasant, and also experience great moments to see and smell the aroma of roasted cacao, enjoy exciting flavor of cocoa liquor and finally newly obtained sample the delicious handmade chocolates produced by the natives of the area.
The tour will be wonderful, as well as learning all about the cocoa, you can visit many wonderful places, because we have beautiful places both in the mountains of cold weather (6-18 ° C/43-64 ° F), where we have beautiful snow, and on the coast where we have beautiful and long beaches and a sea rich (20-32 °C/68-90 ° F), eastern hot and humid climate with huge trees, lush vegetation and beautiful waterfalls (22-30°C /72-86° F).
If you decide to visit my country Ecuador, may also enjoy a variety of typical dishes from each region and finally if you are interested to visit the Galapagos Islands or Enchanted Isles, with its wonderful birds, giant tortoises and marine species are unique in the world, which have been declared World Heritage Site, so cheer to travel, forming a good group and I have the great pleasure to be your guide on this wonderful adventure.
