One of the first Clay Gordon events I attended in Chelsea--tasting the most decadent chocolate concoctions. Including champagne truffles, and chilii pepper dusted brittle
My favorite chocolate is:
Vosges Chocolate

Mmmm, Baci kisses! OMG those are the perfect wrapped dark choc/hazelnutty combo ever absolutley LOVE them- I think Baci means kiss in italian right? I love the little multi lingual notes in them too...
Nice picture. Plus Reading your comment, I saw the note to Clay on the Champagne Truffes. The ones I know you can get in NYC are from Teuscher. And before you ask, yes they are Swiss. However, I am sure there are others too. Mmmmm Champagne Truffes...the best ones are from Sprüngli!
My pleasure Clay. Its one of my most cherished chocolate memories...Another is receiving Perugina Baci from my dad every Valentine's Day (it became a family tradition). Any chance you recall the chocolate maker of the Champagne Truffles? I think it was a small shop downtown, I would love to buy them for a friend.
